ECOTIC was present between 30 October-1 November 2013 to ” Future Communities / / Open Innovation Fair ” at the National Library of Romania. Fair was initiated by Biblionet Programme and the Ministry for Informa
tion Society, under the Patronage of the Romanian Government. It is the first event of its kind in Romania .
During this three days of the fair, inventors, entrepreneurs, and others presented solutions for implementation in various aspects of life in a community .
The fair began with a conference in which participated Neelie Kroes , European Commission Vice President and Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Dacian Ciolos, Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development , Dan Nica, Minister for Information Society and Paul Andre Baran, the director of Biblionet Programme and Digital Champion of Romania.
