The project “Together, For a Cleaner Environment!” was developed in Botosani between March 31 to April 18. This project was initiated by ECOTIC, in partnership with Urban Serv Botosani, Environmental Protection Agency and the local City Hall. Between March 17 to 28, the population of Botosani was informed about the project scope through flyers. The information was based on why it is necessary to collect selectively and how to hand over WEEE to 
authorized recyclers as well as details about the project.
The next stage of the project was between March 31 and April 1, when those who had bulky waste electrical and electronic equipment could call Urban Serv at the telephone number 0231 / 517 007 or 0747.081.027 for free collection of the WEEE by a specialized team.
Between April 7 to 18 the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) was collected from municipal collection points located in the vicinity of the following household associations :
- Association no. 29 ( T Calimachi Street , no. 9 – Tex Club) Program 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. ;
- Association no. 36 ( Aprodu Purice Street ) Program 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. ;
- Association no. 63 ( Independence Street , vis – a – vis SERCONF ) Program Wednesday 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. ;
In total, over 9 tons of waste of electric electronic equipment were collected.
