In October 2022, on the occasion of the International Day of Electrical Waste Recycling, ECOTIC with the support of GBD Research, developed the study "The habits of the Romanian population regarding small electrical equipment".

The study highlights the stock of small electrical equipment in Romanians' homes, when they were purchased and in what manner (new or second-hand), as well as hoarded equipments and what is the consumer's intention regarding their disposal.
