Ecoterrians School – project dedicated to primary and secondary education
"Ecoterrians School" is an awareness and collection campaign for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and battery waste, dedicated to schools in Romania. The campaign runs throughout the school year.
In the 2021-2022 edition of the Ecoterrians School, over 250 schools signed up, over 90 000 students were informed about separate collection and environmental protection.
The teachers were supported to undertake environmental protection activities with the students and received informative materials in order to be able to teach the lessons.
22 video lessons were made for students.
Little ones do great deeds – WBA information and collection project, dedicated to kindergartens
"Little ones do great deeds" is an ECOTIC BAT project aimed at kindergartens with educational purposes regarding battery and accumulator waste.
In 2022 were registered 365 kindergartens registered, managing to collect over 15 tons of WBA.
In 2022, it was the 10 years anniversary of the project "Little ones do great deeds!", a project targeting kindergartens in Romania. The aim of the project is to educate preschoolers in the spirit of the separate collection of batteries and accumulators through awareness activities based on the materials made available by Ecotic BAT.
All 365 participating kindergartens showed their involvement by collecting over 15 tons of waste batteries and accumulators, an impressive amount that ended up on a correct recycling and recovery flow. With the help of teachers, children and parents involved, we can guide the population's behavior related to the separate collection and recycling of waste in a sustainable way, for which we want to thank them.
