Workshops Without Borders Association developed ASSOCLIC project that started as a response to the needs of data processing structures in Romania to develop programs of access to education, training and integration of disadvantaged people through access to IT & C. The answer is actually the fact that the best projects submitted to Assoclic will be awarded with refurbished computers.
ECOTIC joined the project from the moment it was born: 2007.
In January 2013, Workshops Without Borders initiated the Hall of Fame Gala that honors the best projects of the year, in this case being 2012. The best three projects have been approved by a jury on January 30 where ECOTIC also contributed.
Institutions that each were awarded with one laptop :
- Beyond the Silence Association from Galati
- AutHelp Association from Harghita
- St Stephen Foster Center from Calarasi
Institutions that were awarded each with one central unit:
- ADPS – Information center on preventing human trafficking from Iasi
- Prosperitas Vitae Association from Harghita
- Together we will succeed Association from Botosani
Hall of Fame Gala is not meant only to award the best projects, but also to motivate future applicants in designing and proposing projects becoming more and more innovative and with more impact in the community.
