In period November 19–21, the residents of Constanța are invited to participate in the local campaign "Clean Cities – Constanta", an initiative dedicated to the responsible collection of electrical and electronic waste. The campaign is organized by Vastum Eco and ECOTIC, in partnership with local authorities, and aims to facilitate the handover of old or broken electrical equipment, while providing attractive prizes participants.
Guaranteed prizes for the first 20 participants
The first 20 people who hand in their electronic waste at any of the collection points during the campaign period will receive an instant prize (LED bulb).
Moreover, all participants automatically enter the campaign raffle, where I can win:
- 1 x iron
- 1 x blender
- 1 x vacuum cleaner
Collection points
To facilitate access for residents, the campaign provides both a permanent point and temporary collection points:
Permanent collection point:

Temporary collection points:
- 19 November: Cismelei Street, near School 29
- 20 November: 1 May Street, before DSV
- 21 November: Dezrobirii Street (Câmp Area)
A simple step for a cleaner city
The "Clean Cities - Constanța" campaign is part of a national awareness program regarding the selective collection of electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) and encourages the population to get directly involved in reducing pollution and protecting the environment.
"We want to make the collection of electronic waste as accessible as possible for the people of Constanța. Every refrigerator, television or small appliance handed in correctly contributes to a cleaner city and a healthier environment.", said the representative of Vastum Eco.
Why is it important to recycle electrical waste?
Electronic waste contains valuable materials – but also hazardous substances – that must be treated properly. By recycling:
- pollutant emissions are reduced,
- metals and reusable materials are recovered,
- soil and water contamination is avoided,
- it contributes to the circular economy.
