ECOTIC Together with Botoșani City Hall, Urban Serv, ADI Ecoproces, Eltrans and APM Botoșani organizes in the period 7-
October 18, a campaign to collect waste electrical and electronic equipment (including light bulbs and neon lights), addressed to the residents of Botoșani.
Botošan residents are encouraged to use correct and compliant electrical and electronic waste collection solutions. All the equipment collected during this campaign will end up on the recycling stream, thus, important materials will re-enter the production circuit.
In order to meet the population's need for access to solutions to dispose of these types of waste, ECOTIC, together with local partners, is developing a series of collection campaigns aimed at bringing to the attention of local residents the collection points they have at hand .
The residents of Botoșani have at their disposal during the campaign:
- FREE download from the home of bulky waste (minimum 50 kg of WEEE - eg: washing machine, refrigerator, etc.). The pickup order will be made by phone at the numbers 0231 517 007 and 0747 081 027.
Delivery at Urban Serv municipal collection points, open and outside the campaign:
- Agroalimentar Market – Vârnav str., no. 22, Piața Viilor parking lot (Monday 09:00 – 16:00)
- Association no. 36 (Str. Aprodu Purice – behind Magazin Util Gara) (Tuesday and Thursday 09:00 – 16:00)
- Association no. 63 (Str. Independţei – opposite Serconf) (Wednesday 09:00 – 16:00 and Friday 09:00 – 13:00)
To encourage responsible behavior the organizers offer an instant prize: those who hand in more than 20 kg of electrical waste handed in will receive 2 LED bulbs.
