The 2019 Clean Environment Awards Gala announced its winners

Clean Environment Awards Gala is an annual traditional contest, organized by the ECOTIC Association and dedicated to initiatives to protect the environment and conserve the planet's resources. A number of 42 projects were entered in this year's edition in all four categories, being invited to register companies, educational institutions, public institutions and NGOs that have developed, since October 2018, projects dedicated to the environment .

Reaching its 12th edition, this year's Gala announced its winners at a festive event at the InterContinental Hotel on December 100th. The award ceremony was attended by over XNUMX guests, representatives of environmental authorities, producers, operators and partners of ECOTIC, the NGO environment, the media and, of course, the winners.

This year's winning projects have added several important counties on the ecological map of Romania.

In the four categories of the 2019 Clean Environment Awards Gala, the winners are as follows:

Grand Prize for Public Institutions: Suceava County School Inspectorate

Winning project: "ECOlogic Treasure ”

Grand Prize for Companies: Salubris SA Iasi
Winning project: "Put the waste in its place"

 

Grand Prize for Educational Institutions: Bîlteni Technological High School, Structure Secondary School No. 1 Peşteana-Jiu, Bîlteni commune, Gorj County
Winning project: "Ecological and environmental education"

Grand Prize for NGOs: Smile Kayak Sports Club Association
Winning project: "Adventure in nature" through sports, environmental therapy and health "

At this Gala, two of our partners, Vlamir and InfoCons, gave two mentions:

The mention Vlamir was awarded to the Coșoveni Gymnasium School for the project “Eco solarium from peturi”.

The mention Infocons was awarded to the Golăiești Secondary School for the project “Protecting the waters we take care of our health.

As in previous editions, the award for “The best contribution to the national collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment " this year 's award went to Altex.

The novelty of this edition is that they are fulfilled 10 years of successful partnerships including Workshops Without Borders, GreenWEEE, Remat Holding, Rechoralex, Greentronics and Ecorec Recycling.

Ateliere Fără Frontiere developed together with ECOTIC the project “Join the circle of solidarity”, And awarded the organizations that made the greatest contribution to this project. In the category of large companies: ING Bank NV Amsterdam Bucharest Branch (4498.2kg) and in the SME category: BV McCann-Erickson (616.8 kg).

Within the project "ECO journalism for a clean environment", a project organized by ECOTIC, two awards were offered for two categories, namely:

Article category: „Corporate and young entrepreneurs come to discover the authentic life from the country in the commune of Poiana Ilvei ”- Tina Dumitrescu

Video category: „Vlog from Văcărești ep. 1 How do I get to the park? Who we are?" - Gabriela Poiana

At the end of the event, Valentin Negoiță, President of ECOTIC, thanked the winners and all participants for their involvement in environmental protection activities and said:

"We are glad that this edition of the Clean Environment Awards Gala included 42 projects, which present a variety of initiatives worth following, and which show us that environmental concerns occupy an increasingly important place in Romanian society. .

As for us, we will continue to encourage and support these projects that actively contribute to improving environmental factors and the quality of life in Romania. ”
