Electrical waste collection campaign in Constanța
Bucharest, 3.04.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX. Between April 3 and 8, 2023, the inhabitants of Constanța are encouraged to be actively involved in the protection of the environment through the separate collection of electrical and electronic waste.
ECOTIC together with its partners Constanța County Council, ADI Dobrogea, Constanța City Hall and Vastum ECO, organize a waste collection campaign for electrical and electronic equipment (including light bulbs and neon lights) in Constanța municipality.
According to the study "The habits of the Romanian population regarding small electrical equipment" developed by ECOTIC in 2022 10,5% of the small equipment analyzed and which are in Romanian homes are kept even if they are unused or broken. One of the main reasons, cited by 32% of respondents, was not knowing how to dispose of it.
In this context, ECOTIC, together with its partners, makes available to the residents of Constanța, handover solutions for recycling:
Delivery at temporary collection points (April 7 and 8, schedule: 10:00 a.m. – 16:30 p.m.):
- Cismelei – School no. 20
- Brizei - Red Square
- Desrobirii (Camp area)
Handing over to the permanent collection point (Monday – 10:00 a.m. – 20:00 p.m.)
- Industrial, no. 9, Constanta.
FREE collection of bulky waste from home. The pick-up order will be made by phone at phone numbers 0721 289 593.
To encourage responsible behavior, the organizers offer prizes. Every person who teaches Cumulative 15kg will receive a ticket to a raffle with prizes. The prizes consist of: 1x refrigerator, 1x TV, 1x burner, 5x fitness bracelets.
