The Bucharest City Hall, through PROEDUS, in partnership with the ECOTIC Caravan, organized in 
the weekend of April 2-3, in Herastrau park, an event with an ecological theme for children: "EcoPlay recycles, creates, saves".
The event brought to the fore the importance of recycling among the small ones and is part of the series of activities carried out by the Capital City Hall in April, declared "cleaning month".
On this occasion, children aged between 5 and 12 were expected on Saturday and Sunday, between 10.00 - 19.00 at the Big Wheel in Herastrau Park, where they could participate in a series of demonstration workshops and creative workshops where they learned how to protect the environment through recycling.
The ECOTIC Caravan was also located at this event, in which the team members presented the children with 10 disassembled equipment (CRT monitor, refrigerator, washing machine, landline phone, mobile phones, laptop, desktop computer, toy and iron). ), an occasion in which the little ones learned what the toxic substances are from the waste and what can be recovered from them, how the waste can be recycled correctly and where the collection points are positioned.
