ECOTIC will award on December 15 the winners of the XNUMXth edition of Clean Environment Awards Gala. The online event will be broadcast, starting with 19:00, on the social media platforms Hotnews, www.hotnews.ro, as well as on the ECOTIC Organization Facebook page.
During the event, representatives of the electrical equipment manufacturers will have interventions on this topic: Altex Romania, System Plus, Daikin, Schneider Electric, as well as from the recycling sector, GreenWEEE International.
Topics will be discussed regarding the results of the first year in which the collection target was 65%, as well as the next steps necessary to improve the waste management system (legislation, AFM penalty mechanism, implementation of the Clearing House system). ).
The second part of the event will be awarding the Pure Environment Awards, where the winners will be nominated for the following categories:
- ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS (3 winners);
- ENVIRONMENTAL PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR (1 winner);
- SPECIAL AWARD dedicated to JOURNALISTS (1 winner).
The entries in this year's edition were a success for the organizers considering the over 85 entries and nominations, which demonstrated that even in a pandemic context, actions related to environmental protection can be developed.
The event will be moderated by Corina Negrea, editor, journalist and producer of Radio Romania Cultural.
The XNUMXth edition of the Awards Gala for a Clean Environment is supported by: Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, Association of Romanian Municipalities (AMR), Info Cons, Union of Professional Journalists of Romania, APDETIC, Radio Eco Natura, Radio Romania Cultural, RFI Romania, Cărturești and Hotnews.
