HAND IN FOR RECYCLING ELECTRICAL WASTE, BATTERIES AND USED BULBS AND NEON LIGHTS!

Here are the solutions that ECOTIC makes available to you:

1. Exchange 1 to 1

WHEN YOU PURCHASE A NEW EQUIPMENT YOU CAN HAND IN, UPON RECEIPT OF THE NEW, SIMILAR BROKEN EQUIPMENT. According to GEO 5/2015 Art. 11, regardless of the type of electrical equipment you want to get rid of, small or large, the store from which you make the purchase (online or directly from the store) must offer you the possibility of handing in the old equipment equivalent. For example, if you will purchase a refrigerator online, at the time of placing the order you will tick the fact that you want to hand over the old refrigerator, and the store is obliged to send the courier the collection of the old equipment.

Some stores also offer discounts or vouchers upon receipt of waste.

2. Dedicated collection points / centers

WE RECOMMEND HANDING THE EQUIPMENT TO MUNICIPAL CENTERS OR DEDICATED COLLECTION POINTS. Especially for small equipment, since it is not efficient to travel home for them, the general public has many points at their fingertips: in electrical stores, at work and even at school, and in certain cities are collection centers of sanitation operators. To identify the nearest collection point, we invite you to consult the map here.

3. Pick up from home

ECOTIC CAN, IN CERTAIN CONDITIONS, PROVIDE PICKUP OF BULKY EQUIPMENT FROM YOUR HOME. If you want to place a pick-up order from home, contact us at phone number 021 9641, at email logistica@ecotic.ro or via the order form here.

WHAT ARE DBA

DBA stands for Waste Batteries and Accumulators

Waste Batteries and Accumulators contain heavy metals and toxic substances, and after disposing of them together with household waste can end up in landfills, thus losing raw materials that could be reused and also contaminate water, soil and air.
