WEEE means all electrical and electronic equipment obsolete that worked with the help of batteries or on the basis of electricity, plugged in: refrigerator, iron, washing machine, television, computers, mobile phones, radio cassette players, video cameras, microwave ovens, etc.

WHAT ARE DBA

DBA stands for Waste Batteries and Accumulators

Waste Batteries and Accumulators contain heavy metals and toxic substances, and after disposing of them together with household waste can end up in landfills, thus losing raw materials that could be reused and also contaminate water, soil and air.

HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE TO RECYCLING?

1. Exchange 1 to 1

WHEN YOU PURCHASE NEW EQUIPMENT, YOU CAN DELIVER SIMILARLY SIMILAR EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE NEW ONE. According to GEO 5/2015 Art. 11, regardless of the type of electrical equipment you want to get rid of, small or large, the store from which you make the purchase (online or directly from the store) must offer you the opportunity to hand over the old equipment equivalent. For example, if you buy a refrigerator online, when placing the order you will check the fact that you want to hand over an electrical waste, and the store is obliged to send the courier to pick it up.

Some stores also offer discounts or vouchers upon receipt of waste.

2. Dedicated collection points / centers

WE RECOMMEND THE DELIVERY OF EQUIPMENT TO MUNICIPAL CENTERS OR DEDICATED COLLECTION POINTS. Especially when it comes to small equipment, because it is not efficient to go home for them, the general public has a lot of points at hand: in electrical stores, at work and even at school, and in some cities are collection centers of sanitation operators. 3. Picking up from home
